I am beyond happy to report two new poems forthcoming in London, Ontario’s own Nickel95 Magazine!  The edition, entitled The Kiss & Make-Up Issue will be released this month & is the second installation of the publication from Editor Melissa Upfold.  Nickel95 is printed in a limited run of fifty copies & each magazine is handmade with ink, sweat n passion that never quits!

The February 2013 – Many Faces of Love Edition of the Poetic Pinup Revue is now available for order & it’s a true pleasure to have two poems featured in the issue!  The magazine is an 8.5″ x 11″ 50 page, saddle-stitched beauty with full bleed color pages.  Copies are $12.00 but consider a subscription & score more than just a discount with this provocative publication!

Come on down to Innisfree Coffee & Books 1203 13th Street in the Hill neighborhood in Boulder, Colorado on December 1 at 3:00 p.m for the Lummox Journal Poetry Reading!  Join this roughrider & front range gunslingers James Taylor III, Phil Woods, Jerry Smaldone, Karen Douglas, Jared Smith, Diane Klammer, and Mike Adams as we read selections from the new Lummox Journal along with other renegade poems & back porch stories.  The reading goes until dusk or whenever the last beams of the roof burn down!

I am damn proud and extremely excited to announce the upcoming release of my chapbook Lowlifes, Fast Times & Occasionally Love to be published by Erbacce Press!  The collection consists of twenty one poems never previously released or published and will be presented in A5 format with a two-staple spine. Reading these poems is akin to being in your favorite bar or cafe, listening to anecdotes from a witty, sagacious, compassionate, humorous, insightful friend, delivered in a mellow and melodious voice.  My only nag is when the voice stops and I must leave.

Gladeview bought a used car.  The backseat was stained, with who-knows-what, strewn with empties and butts and a couple of books.  He cashed in the empties, cleaned up the butts, tossed the books in the trunk.  Now, with a couple of bucks worth of gas money, he set off on his own journey, ready to fill the backseat with his own stuff – stains, garbage, words, and all.
